Removing the Hard Disk Drive Module

  1. See "Removing the Battery Pack" on page 44.
  2. Remove the HDD cover, See "Removing the Lower Covers" on page 47.
  3. Use the pull-tab to pull and lift the hard disk drive module out of the bay.

4. Remove the four screws securing the hard disk to the carrier.

  1. Turn the computer over and open the LCD module to expose the Switch Cover.
  2. Lift the Switch Cover as shown, and move from right to left side.
